Two years ago we visited the grand Sikkim alongwith our dear students. The magnanimity of the mountains the vast expanse of snow the lavish valleys and the delicious sun kissed fauna made our trip a memorable one.
The chill pierced the bones and the layers of clothing seemed so insufficient. There were moments when the daring jeeps spiralled around the mountains making us all dizzier than ever and I regretted having opted for the trip. When in the dark of night the vehicle took sepentine turns and I felt nauseated to the nucleus of my cells, I questioned myself for having made the decision.
Well , children gave us worries and happy moments too. I lived the life of a mother, nurse, watchman and entertainer all in one for the entire trip.
